This Elite tournament is a qualifier for the 2008 Classic and will be held on the weekend os Sept. 13th - 16th.
The Sunshine Showdown winner receives a $100,000 first-place prize. This event is expected to generate more than $500,000 in direct economic impact for the local community. ESPN2’s “The Citgo Bassmasters.” will provide TV coverage of the Sunshine Showdown.
BASS tournaments are very fan friendly. Fans are encouraged to follow their favorite fishermen and attend the weigh-ins. BASS officials estimated that more than 62,000 attended some aspect of last years Classic on Lake Toho.
