Classic Tournaments is pleased to announce the 2008 Flatsmasters Tournament Series Schedule.
The Flatsmasters is the largest backcountry tournament series in Florida with over 1500 anglers participating in the 2007 events. The Flatsmasters is unique as it is the only major televised series to target a different combination of species (Trout,Redfish,Snook) in each event. The Flatsmasters consists of 2 artificial lure only events and 2 open bait events. The Top Fifty teams in points are invited to fish The Flatsmasters Championship in October.
The Flatsmasters is also the only major TV Tournament to allow wading, so all the action is up close as many teams are in the water with the fish. The Flatsmasters can be seen on The SunSports TV Network across Florida on Cable and nationally on satellite. New teams wanting to participate in the 2008 Flatsmasters Series must first fish the Flatsmasters Qualifier Event in February.
