The Bay Anchovy makes for a good bait fish when targeting Tarpon, Kingfish, Blacktip and Spinner Sharks, Jack Crevalle, Redfish and Snook.
The Bay Anchovy is characterized by his "glass" body, which is transparent and his overall small rounded off shape.
These fish are found in great numbers in all salt waters.
Cast nets, dip nets and siennes are the prefered method of catching these fish.
