The Golden Shiner makes for a good bait fish when targeting XXXXXXXXXXX.
The Golden Shiner is chracterized by flat thin body with large scales that may or may not be slighty gold or yellow, his topside is usually darker than the rest of his body. He has a large forked tail and a small head and mouth.
These fish are found in most if not all of Floridas inland waters, prefering to stay within the cover of weeds or patches of vegetation.
Earthwoms bits make for the best natural bait for chumming while breadball make for the best "artificial" bait for chumming, usually cast-netted but small tackle and baits may be used as well.
