Little Tunny Specifications

Water: Salt Where: Offshore
Size: One of the smallest fish in the tuna family, weighs-in at up to 26 pounds.
Fight: Little Tunnys are sought after as a sport fish because of its reel-stripping high
speed runs when hooked.
Deliciousness: Poor
Range: East Coast Technique: Drifting / Trolling / Casting
Baits: Baitfish / Squid / Lure Tackle: Spinning

Little Tunny is a small Tuna, that can be found in large schools and in warm, tropical waters of the Atlantic.

Sometimes thought of as a trash fish because its food value is so poor it is considered inedible.
