Water: Salt Where: Offshore
Size: Most common schooling at a pound up to 20 pounds. Large bulls and cows are loners and reach up to 50 pounds large bulls can exceed 50 and grow up to 90 pounds.
Fight: One of the best gamesters out there. Very strong and determined. An acrobatic fish with stamina.
Deliciousness: Excellent
Range: Both Coasts Technique: Drifting / Trolling / Casting
Baits: Baitfish / Lures / Flies Tackle: Spinning / Fly Tackle

The Dolphin is characterized by its flashy colors ranging from green to blue to yellow with muttled spots extending down the flanks. A large fan-like dorsal fin runs the entire length of his body leading to a thin forked tail. Males have a deciding more blunt head than the females.

These fish are found in the open sea, alot of times near or at structure and weedlines.

Live baitfish or rigged baitfish as well as cut fish make for the best natural baits, while poppers, plugs and streamers make for the best artificials.
