The Whitebone Porgy is a silvery white fish with inconsistane darker splotches along his flank. He has a forked tail, a continuos dorsal and petruding lips.
These fish are found in deeper waters holding structure, such as rocks, reefs or patchy bottoms.
Cut bait such as baitfish or squid make for the best natural bait, while when presented properly, the occaisionl catch on a jig is the best artificial strategy.
