The White Mullet is characterized by a silvery body with a slightly darker upper. A smal rounded off head and a tiny mouth. Very Light stripes are present running horizontally along his flank from head to tail, which is darker and more fan like, tipped with black or a darker color. The fins are considerably larger than that of his cousin the Striped Mullet.
These found are found in virtually all nearshore, coastal and inland waters, even venturing into fresh water.
Fish innards make for the best natural bait, while anything small and bait like make for the best artificial. The cast net is by far the best way to catch them.
