Fall Is In The Air! Finally what we’ve all been waiting for… some cooler weather. From inshore to offshore the fishing should really turn on this month. Every day the grouper bite in 25 – 35 foot depths is getting better and better, on smaller structure such as ledges. As the water stays calm, I’ve found that the fish start to move, so targets nice bottom spots in between the larger ...full report

WOW! What a crazy weather pattern the Nature Coast has experienced over the last 3 weeks. Wet and windy weather has been the norm and although there have been a few occasions where the weather has gotten the best of us, this type of weather pattern actually fuels great fishing and even better scalloping. Although cloudy conditions and a little bit of rain are not typical Chamber of Commerce weather ...full report

Well what can we say about the weather, that has not already been said? The only constant with the Nature Coast Weather these days it it\\\'s inconsistencies. Two days of rain followed by 3 days of sun is great as long as it\\\'s predictable. The days of afternoon thunderstorms are long gone as the first true cold front of the fall season made it\\\'s presence felt earlier this month. ...full report

Tampa Bay Fishing Report 7/29/15
08/08/15 5:57 PM

Reel Till U Feel Charters fishing report for Tampa Bay. For almost 3 weeks now the rain has made getting out on the water tuff. The only bright side of all the rain is it has drop water temp a few degrees. On day’s we were able to get out the Redfish bite has been good with most in the 18 to 25 inch range. We are finding Trout of all sizes on the morning incoming tide and moving to the deeper grass ...full report

Anna Maria Island Fishing Charters July 13th - 19th Report Wet and Windy Week ... This week has been extremely challenging to say the least, but we still were able to catch some nice fish. I had to cancel two trips this week due to rain and most of the week we saw a steady 15-20 knot of winds out of the west making some of the areas I would normally fish difficult to get too. Bait has been ...full report

Angler Reports

I am new to the area, and have not had much time to fish the lake, but in the past three trips I have been killing the jumbo Bluegills and Black Crappie. I am originally from Northern Michigan so that's what we call them. I think down here they may be called Bream and Specs, I'm not sure though. On 2/15/13 I caught 12 gills the largest on was 12.5 inches long and 6.75 inches from top to bottom. ...full report

Anclote Fishing Pier
08/13/12 11:13 PM

We took our kayak out on the Anclote River for some morning fishing. Bites were steady from 6:30 AM until 8:30 AM. We were landing keeper Mangrove Snappers with live shrimp on a cork. We also landed a small Flounder and 6lbs. Sheepshead using Gulp® Sand Fleas on a red jig. From 8:30AM until 10:30AM, action stopped dead, other than pinfish and other small fish stealing our bait. As we were reeling ...full report

Venice South Jetty To Englwood
07/28/11 1:26 AM

My clients in the Venice beach area have brought news of Blacktips along the beaches. The largest one this week I have seen was 3 feet long, caught on live shrimp. Large Flounder, the biggest one 20 inches are also along the beaches. The best technique I know and heard used this week was using pieces of squid cut into strips and then threaded onto a jig head, bounced off the bottom with a lift-pause-reel, ...full report

Richie27" Snook6/30/11 Caspersons BeachThe Snook have been hitting on shrimp, Pinfish, small white jigs as well as top water baits during the mornings & throughout the afternoon. Early evening, watch near rock piles and lighted areas such as bridge bumpers where these fish have been holding. Top water baits resembling small Baitfish are the most effective for night time. For Redfish, outgoing ...full report

Pasco County Florida
04/19/11 12:25 PM

Pasco County waters have been heating up, with a number of King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Cobia, and Trout being caught in virtually any depth of water. The tides have been strong, and so has the bite on live and artificial baits. Movement of the bait has been the key to targeting different species. Faster movements with flashy baits will produce the Kings and Spanish. Slower movement on the top ...full report
