03/20/13 11:20 AM HookedOnFishingCharters | The fishing on Lake Toho has been good this week using live wild shiners. My half day trips averaged 10-12 fish per trip. The biggest bass of the week was 7 1/2 lbs. Outsides grasslines have been productive as well as slow trolling edges. Bass Assassin's fished weightless and rattletraps got us some decent fish as well. The fishing should continue to improve as the weather warms.

03/13/13 9:35 PM Capt Randy DuMars | Crappie Bite has been excellent to say the least. Its time to take a break from life and go fishing. crappie are in shallow water in vegetation. Jig tipped with a minnow are your best bet. 2 more weeks left before they move back out to open water. ...full report |

02/27/13 11:58 AM HookedOnFishingCharters | Lake Kissimmee has been the better lake in the chain this spring. The fish have been biting on the inside and outside well depending on the time of day and location. On the cooler brighter days flipping soft plastics into the heaviest cover you can find has been productive. Shiners live lined under these thick mats has been the ticket as well. On the warmer days flukes and spinnerbaits have been working ...full report |

With water temps hovering into the low to mid 60’s bigger fish are finally starting to bite. Caught at lot of 5 to 7lb. fish one fish over 8 lbs. this week. Fish are biting live wild shiners on both bobbers and free lines. Both on the Butler Chain and Lake Kissimmee the fish are outside the grass lines and you catch a number of fish. Artificial bite is a little slow for bigger fish ...full report |

10/09/12 1:51 PM CaptainBobbyHensel | Went fishing with my wife this week on one of the areas small lakes and really noticed that the fish were biting much better than they have been. We took 3 dozen shiners with us and at one time were catching them one after the other. Did not catch any big fish but just to get bit that much was kinda FUN ! The water temperture is cooling down a little and before we know it those 65 degree days will ...full report |

07/29/10 9:40 AM basshunter15 | The full moon, ahhhh, sometimes the easiest or hardest times to fish. I was Bass fishing on Finger Lake today, and started out really slow, presenting a challenge, then went over to the small creek that runs under Lake way drive in Lake Mary, and the action started to turn on. Gar, Bass and I sighted some huge Channel Cats. I caught 2 Bass fry on a trick worm, and then the instant I switched to a black ...full report |

07/27/10 9:26 AM Bassonator | The full moon really is my favorite time to fish and the few days before it. It seems like I traded quantity for quality as I haven't got many fish, but the one I did land was a trophy 8lb3 oz-er. They were reluctant to hit the worms and soft plastics(even senkos). so I tried a crankbait. Thats what produced this ol gal. My advice is, if its in your tackle box, give it a try for 15-20 minutes, ...full report |

06/08/10 10:52 AM Bassonator | I was out yesterday evening around 6:30, my favorite time to fish, am or pm , I caught a few decent size Bass on a berkley powerbait sinking minnow. I was basically jiggin it with the occasional darting tug, as I call it. This resulted in a 9 lb 24 inch monster! what a fight! She pulled and pulled drag out, 'til finally she tired and I landed her. These Bass seem like they are on for a chase, so ...full report |

06/01/10 8:47 AM Bassonator | Yesterday, I went throwing a zoom fluke jerk bait, working it on top and letting it sink, this led to 15 Bass in 1 hour! Biggest one 6 lb 3/4oz 22in, not the best I've seen, but a great and fun catch. Seems these post spawn Bass in a lot of poinciana ponds have regained their chasing strength and are hitting dashing, darting style baits....go get em!! - Bassonator ...full report |
