fishinjoe | Last Wednesday, 24 Snook 36- 43".. 12 Spanish Mackerel 28-31".. 30" Grouper and 9 Cobia 8 shorts 1- 42".. by my self. Live bait ..can tell the spot..out of Yankeetown . Pretty much been doing this every day all the last week. See ya.. ...full report |

fishinjoe | Went out 5-11-10, got 4 Kings 10-15 lbs. Also 5 big Spanish 29-31", one keeper Grouper 30", 2 undersize Cobia . All on live bait, Greenbacks. ...full report |

4 or 5 female rest males, small roe in females, North end of lake deep in the trees 2' of water, fishing with live minnows.

F16 | Started fishing at 6:45am. Quit at 3pm. 12 Boats in club tournament. It seemed all but 2 boats headed upstream. The results were as follows. 36 Bass caught, 1st place 10.8 for 3 Bass. They looked like footballs. 2nd place 10.1 for 5 Bass. Big Bass was 4 even. Lipless crankbaits (chrome/black) ripped through the grass seemed to be the lure of choice with best results. F16 | Launched at Peaceful Acres at 9:30am. Water temps ranged from 46-50. Threw everything and fished shallow to 30'. Never got a hit and quit at 4pm. Although this was my first time on Rousseau it reminded me of northern lakes. Unfortunately so did the bite. Fished mainly from the ramp to the dam. Will concentrate on the other end next visit. Was bothered by smoke and ashes from a major brush fire. ...full report |
