Gulf Grouper

Mahi and Blackfin Tuna are being caught everyday. Some large fish have been caught, and a bunch of small fish are still moving through the area. Sportfishing catch and release at it's best with the small Mahi. Yellow tail snapper are on the reef and have been caught without any problems. Most have been caught in 70 feet of water. Sea Horse

Dolphin/Mahi have been easy to find and are being caught in 300 feet and deeper. Most of the bigger Dolphin have been in small packs moving quickly up the current feeding under the birds. Lately the further offshore the better, more so because of less boats to compete with. Blackfin Tuna can be found feeding on the surface at the Humps early in the morning. Sea Horse

Lots of Dolphin/Mahi, Tuna and Marlin. Sea Horse sportfishing team landed a Blue Marlin estimated over 500 pounds. After an 8 hour and 42 minute fight the huge fish was attacked at the boat by large Sharks. Sea Horse

Dolphin and Tunas in 300 feet close to the reef. Larger fish have been more consistent further off-shore. Lots of fish over a hundred Dolphin each day. ...full report
