The offshore fishing has been very hot recently. Limit catches of grouper and amberjacks are common at least 50 miles out, closer inshore has been very spotty on the other hand. Red grouper and red snapper season is currently closed, so instead go for the Kingfish & Mackerel that have been seen around the Blackthorne wreck area. With the red tide finially dying off, get ready for a phenominal year of fishing, historically the first year after red tides offer the best catches.
