Some nice sheepshead up to 4 pounds were caught today using shrimp. We were in about 6 feet of water west of Chaz. on the outgoing tide.

Slack water and we ate lunch then moved inshore and got into both trout and redfish in depths 1-2 feet.

The largest trout was 22 inches and the Catch 2000 MirrOlure was the bait we used.

We saw a few big snook and some slot sized reds but all that was eating were the smaller rats.

It was a beautiful clear day on the beautiful flats of Homosassa.
