Night time is the right time. It's cooler, I like it, you'll like it and the fish like it too.
Some Snook are still on the beaches and near the passes, dock lights from Clearwater south are holding quite a few Snook and Redfish in them. They'll take a Live bait, artificial shrimp or a fly in all white.
Redfish are near the mangroves on higher water, look for the schools of Mullet for places to start. Casting a D.O.A. shrimp or weedless jerk bait to see where they are and live bait when you found the school.
Mangrove Snapper have been great on live Sardines near rock piles along the ships channel and near the bigger bridges.
Go Fish,
Captain Jazz
