thecrankincracker | | Well backwoods bassmasters had there annual shiner tournament on lake kerr this past saturday and man was it good! 13 boats weighed in a total of 120lbs of bass. Big fish of the tournament was 8-14 and 6 out of the 13 boat had fish over 6lbs. We finished 4th with 12lb 10oz. Winning weight was 20lb 12 oz. We have some diehards who thought they could whip us without shiners but they didn't even weigh in. Shiners stole the show. We caught alot on rattle traps but they were all small and they looked kind of sick. Very big heads and shrunk in bodies. All the bigger fish were very healthy thought. If you know this lake you will appreciate these numbers because it's not known to have alot of monsters in it, but we proved them wrong. |
