Bass are finishing up their spawn. I have seen a few fish still on beds. Most have made out to open water, Todays trip was excellent. I expected the cold front ,to shut the fish down, but the bass were off the chain . I used 5 dozen shiners in 2 hours. The biggest fish was 8 lbs. We caught 12 and missed 15 fish. I would have never guessed it . I hope tomorrow is just as good . I know ,Fat chance of that.
