Fort Desoto is known for a large amount of fishing but also for a large amount of boaters. Alot of the fishing has been spooked off toward channel dropoffs because of this. The best spots here are to go to 100 feet to the side of a channel drift with the wind in about 3-6 Feet of water. Drag Exude shrimps over the trouts faces and they will bite it. Fish have been from 15 inches to 24 inches. Check out my props to see what we've caught.
