With summertime fishing in full gear and water temperatures on the rise fish are still biting on both Lake Toho and the Butler Chain. Fishing early in the morning until about 11 a.m. is the best time . Both artificial and shiner fishing are working well. My clients have been averaging over 20 fish per trip and some linkers being caught. Just this past week alone 2 fish over 9lbs. One on a shiner the other on a rattle trap. Water temperatures are in the 80’s. Fish are schooling right after sunrise and very late in the evening. Rattle traps, sinkos, frogs, 10 in. worms and top water prop baits are working best. Later on in the morning move to little deeper water and you can find success. Summertime can be some of the best fishing of the year.

Great Fishing!
