Fished Lake Reedy out of Frostproof last Friday. Very early bite in the grassy areas and around lily pads. Very shallow and sandy bottom on south end of lake toward orange grove extends a good ways out from shore. Took 6 1/2 hours to catch 6 keeper fish over 12 inches. Trick worms and Rattlin Vibe Blue Chrome. Lots of peppergrass / vegetation.

Fished Lake Marion out of Haines City this morning. Don't waste your gas or time for bass. Water is nasty. Several people out fishing for Bluegills, shellcrackers and some specks as hot as it is. Water at 8 am was over 85 degrees.
