Jones Creek/Mosquito Lagoon

Captain DREW

The area north of the Lagoon has been producing great numbers of fish. The Jones Creek area behind the Orange Island area has been the most productive area. With high waters and more feeding ground fish have been thick in this area. For redfish try using live mullet or sight fish them with cut mullet or shrimp. Now the trout have been off the wall. I like using a topwater plug, mostly the skitterwalk mullet pattern. If you can find decent pigfish they will work too. However these baits are getting bigger each day. For any information please feel free to contact me at 352-223-7897 or drcfishmaster@cfl.rr.com. Or please visit my Web Site @: www.floridainshorefishingcharters.com

Thank you
Capt. Drew Cavanaugh
