bahc | The Bass Anglers of Hardee County fished their September tournament on Lake Jackson in Sebring this past Sunday. It was the second lowest weigh in for the club this year at 75.01lbs. 1st Place went to Team James with 13.68lbs. and a big fish weighing 7.75lbs, 2nd Place went to Team Tater with 7.63lbs and 3rd Place went to Action Crafters with 7.09lbs. This lake is tough for the bank beaters, the water is extremely clear. There are a few deep holes near the shore that did produce some fish and if you have a small flat bottom boat or canoe you can go under the US 27 bridge to Little Lake Jackson since the recent rains brought the water level up. Little Jackson has a reputation of being the better fishing lake and there a couple of our guys were able to get through and did catch a few fish there.
