West Lake Toho

Last week the fishing on West Lake toho was great. One of my long time clients fished with me for two days and ha caught some monster Bass. Day one we started out catching schooling fish on top water. The biggest two fish were in the 5 pound range. After catching a dozen or so we moved to a different spot and Shiner fished. This was when it got really fun. He caught around 8 fish two of them over 8 pounds. The next day we fished we basically did the samething and he caught two more big fish over 9 pounds. These fish looked like they were moving up to spawn. Rick was so stoked about the two 8 pounders and really got excited when he caught the two 9's. This was his 6th trip with me and he said he will be back. I hope he dident get spoiled. But he said last year when he came the fishing was fantastic also. Rick is a great client and has become a friend also. It's nice to have a good repeat client base that comes back year after year. I cant wait for the post spawner to start showing up. This will be the time of year we really start catching a lot of really big fish in numbers.

See you on the pond.
