Father's Day morning the wife and kids slept in and let Daddy have a little morning surf fishing unwind time. Was a perfect day, light surf with times of glass, 3-4 ounces were holding most of the day. Was tons of Sharks out today, first fish i reeled in (whiting caught on the only sand flea I could find around) was missing his rear half.

Used the rest of him for cut bait and also used some frozen shrimp I bought on the way out. No matter what I put on the line I was reeling in Sharks, Sandbar Sharks and one Bonnethead. No eating fish of slot size to bring home for the grill, but those Sharks did make for some fun fights.

I would recommend grabbing some sand fleas, the non Shark species seemed to be responding well to those. The shrimp and cut bait might could have brought in something other than Sharks but they were definitely dominating the bite out there.
