Trophy Bass Fishing On Lake Toho
10/08/09 10:42 AM
Florida Bass Adventures
What a month it has been so far here in Orlando. Big Bass are actively feeding throughout Lake Toho and my clients are the ones benefitting.

On Tuesday, Scott Riley who is a repeat client from New Jersey, came out for another day of trophy Bass fishing in Orlando and was not disappointed. Getting on the water at first light Scott quickly landed his first Bass on a Luckycraft Gunfish 95 walking bait that weighed in at 3lbs. After a couple more smaller fish on the Gunfish we switched to Texas rigged worms catching another 10 fish before swithing back to some topwater fishing. Again, throwing the Gunfish 95 Scott missed the first strike but would not miss his second. A huge boil swirled around his bait and soon after a fight was on with Scott landing his biggest Bass ever weighing in at 11 lbs 65 oz on certified scales. This is a great fish for October and definitely shows what is possible on world famous Lake Toho when Bass fishing in Orlando.

Water temperatures are still in the low 80's with air temps just a bit higher each day. This is awesome weather for this time of year which is accounting for the great fishing. Of course this is what I do here 12 months out of the year at Florida Bass Adventures so give me a call and maybe you could catch the biggest Bass of your life!
