Capt Dean Puller | This week has been great on Toho. I had clients out on Tuesday this week who were very good anglers from Canada. We started out throwing soft plastics and were able to catch 5 fish. I then tied on top water lures for them and the mayhem started. By the time it was over we caught 34 fish up to 5 pound in about three hours. These two said that was the best top water bite they had ever seen. It is centainly one of my favorate ways to catch fish. Two days later the winds were up and the top water bite was gone but the carolina rig was producing. We caught 15 fish on a half day most of them around 2.5 lbs. Im looking forward to the winds settling down and that top water bite starting again.
Keep catching then let em go.
