 | Ft. Pierce Inshore - Offshore Report
11/13/09 10:08 PM captjoeward | INSHORE With al the strong windy conditions all week -- this was a good time to do a little maintenance on your fishing equipment. Changing the line, giving the reel a shot of grease and tightening all the screws and handles. If that didn't take you very long then it was time for the honey do list and that took up all the rest of the week.
However, I did have a couple of reports under size Snook being caught along the lighted docks in the Ft. Pierce Inlet. The top bait to use has been a live shrimp. I also talked to a couple of anglers that put their boats in at Round Island and found plenty of catch and release Trout, small Snook and plenty of Jacks and Ladyfish. But, you have to stay close to the east shore line or the wind will catch you and blow you out quickly. You know it is bad when you go to the boat ramp and no one is there.
OFFSHORE There is no offshore report this week because of the sea conditions.
If you would like to report a catch you can e-mail me at cward11605@aol.com or call me at 772-201-5770. You can also reach me on the web at www.captjoeward.com
