Doing really, really well on White Fish with store bought frozen shrimp with a bottom rig, 6" from the sinker and a top rig 12" from the first rig. Went there Easter Sunday and within an hour filled my box. I only keep what I eat. Was having a blast with Snapper Blues. After breaking twenty pound test with an unknown fish I realized I am going to upgrade my surf rods with 30 pound test and going back out.

Just a friendly reminder that catching fresh sand fleas is by far the best bait, but I was doing extremely well with the store bought shrimp and that was only because the main bait shop heading into New Smyrna was closed on Easter Sunday. Remember buy extra large jumbo shrimp, snap the heads off and cut them into little chunks and have a blast!
