Fishing is very good during the summer months but a lot of people think the fishing is poor because of the hot weather but if you know when and where to go you will have rod bending action all day long. Red fish action is HOT on the incoming tide live bait is the way to go, pin fish and green backs are my top choice. Look for reds around the outside points, islands, and oyster bars. Mullet is a good key to finding red fish. Trout are in the deeper grass flats 8 to 12 feet along with the trout are big sea bass, sharks, flounder, and some mackerel. Use a 1/4 ounce jig head with a white gulp shrimp or a white mirr o lure lil jon is the ticket. Scallops are still thick North of bay port limits of trout, reds, and scallops are coming daily. To get in the HOT action book your trip NOW.
