Red Hot Fishing Hernando Beach Fl

Fishing is RED HOT with monster schools of huge red fish taking over the back country flats. Locating one of these schools of reds takes a lot of moving around but when you find them its game on. On a low tide these reds will be tailing in very shallow water feeding on crabs and shrimp a quite approach is needed for catching them as they are spooky, top water lures and soft plastic jerk baits are doing great but nothing beats a live green back. The size of the red fish schools are any where from 20 to 50 fish per school and all in the upper slot and over 26 to 34". Trout will be making there way back into the shallow grass flats 5 to 8 feet and by October they will be in the back country waters right with the reds. Spanish mackerel are showing up in the deeper flats 8 to 12 feet us live green backs with a 2/0 long shank hook and 30 lb leader to prevent cut offs. Sharks are also in the same area us a stout rod with any kind of fresh cut bait will get the job done. Scallop season will end on the 25Th of this month and they are still very thick out there. Fishing is very very good and so is the scalloping book a trip ASAP to get in on this awesome action, visit my website for special rates for this month at www.chasentailsfishingcharters.webs.com
