Boat Ramps in Polk County

Crooked Lake Boat Ramp

Single-lane ramp with unimproved parking lot capable of accommodating 45 vehicles. Facility is universally accessible.

Lakeland, FL

Directions:

From intersection of Hwy 27 and CR 630A south of Lake Wales, travel east on 630A for 1.0 mile. Turn left onto Keen Park Road and go 0.4 mile to ramp.

Kissimmee River North Boat Ramp

This ramp provides access to the river north of the locks. Single-lane ramp with unimproved parking lot capable of accommodating 30 vehicles. Bank fishing is allowed and a marina with fuel is located nearby.

Directions:

Ramp is located at the junction of SR 60 and the Kissimmee River. Before crossing bridge, turn right onto Levee Road. Follow road to ramp.

Kissimmee River South Boat Ramp

Single-lane ramp with unimproved parking lot capable of accommodating 30 vehicles. Bank fishing is allowed. This ramp provides access to the river south of the locks.

Directions:

Ramp is located at the junction of SR 60 and the Kissimmee River. Before crossing bridge, turn right onto Levee Road. Follow road past first ramp.

Lake Alfred - Lions Club Park Boat Ramp

Single-lane ramp with unimproved parking lot capable of accommodating 20 vehicles. Picnic facilities are available and bank fishing is allowed.

Directions:

From intersection of Hwy 92 and CR 557 in Lake Alfred, travel north on CR 557 for 1.0 mile to Haines Boulevard. Turn left and go 0.1 mile to Nekoma Avenue. Turn right and go 0.1 mile to entrance to Lions Club Park. Turn left into park and follow park road to ramp.

Lake Bonny Boat Ramp

Single-lane ramp with paved parking lot capable of accommodating 6 vehicles. Bank fishing is allowed.

Directions:

From intersection of Hwy 92 and SR 33 in Lakeland, travel south on SR 33 (Massachusetts Avenue) for 0.4 mile to Main Street. Turn left and go 1.6 miles to ramp.

Lake Haines Boat Ramp

Single-lane ramp with unimproved parking lot capable of accommodating 8 vehicles.

Directions:

From intersection of Hwy 92 and CR 557 in Lake Alfred. Travel west on Hwy 92 for 1.2 miles to Haines Boulevard. Turn left and go 0.9 mile to ramp.

Lake Parker - Sertoma Park Boat Ramp

Double-lane ramp with fixed courtesy dock. Paved parking lot capable of accommodating 30 vehicles. Picnic facilities area available and bank fishing is allowed.

Directions:

From intersection of Hwy 92 and SR 33 in Lakeland, travel east on Hwy 92 for 1.6 miles to ramp. Ramp is located on left side of road in city park.

Lake Rosali Boat Ramp

Single-lane ramp with unimproved parking lot capable of accommodating 30 vehicles. Bank fishing is allowed.

Park hours: 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Directions:

From intersection of SR 60 and Tiger Lake Road, turn left and go 1.9 miles to Rosalie Lake Road. Turn left and go 1.0 mile to ramp.

Lake Swoope Boat Ramp

Ramp is on the left side of the road.
Single-lane ramp with unimproved parking lot capable of accommodating 25 vehicles.

Directions:

From intersection of Hwy 92 and CR 557 in Lake Alfred, go north on CR 557 for 1.2 miles. Turn right to Swoope Street and go 0.2 mile to Rochelle Drive. Turn left and go 0.1 mile to ramp.

Tenoroc Fish Management Area Boat Ramps

Picnic Lake, Lake 2 and Lake 3 access.

Picnic Lake - Single-lane ramp with floating courtesy dock. Unimproved parking area. No outboard motors allowed.

Lake 2 - Single-lane ramp with floating courtesy dock. No outboard motors allowed with ten boat limit.

Note: Persons 16 and over must be accompanied by a child under 16 who is fishing also. Facility is universally accessible at normal water levels.

Lake 3 - Single-lane ramp with floating courtesy dock. No outboard motors allowed with 12 boat limit. Facility is universally accessible at normal water levels.

From intersection of I-4 and SR 33, travel south on SR 33 for 1.5 miles to Combee Road. Turn left and go 1.3 miles to Tenoroc Mine Road. Turn left and go 1.7 miles to area check-in building. Maps are available at time of check-in. Details are available on the Tenoroc Web page.
