Buoys

For the offshore fishing boat captain, meteorological buoy data is very important.

Moored buoys provide wind speed and direction, wave height, pressure changes, and other key data about marine conditions and developing storms along the coast that can make or break a 25 mile out trip. That far offshore, the weather can be drastically different than at the marina.

The links on this page can help you find the information you need to be prepared and have a great trip.
